THE ART OF THE FALLEN

This portfolio is a curated collection of art that captures beauty in the things I admire. Art serves as a means of expressing my perception of the world and offers insight into my imagination.

Featuring digital illustrations, traditional sketches, and other forms, the work explores the interplay between the beauty and the twisted, reflecting dark themes and fantasy while showcasing character design and environmental concepts.

CHARACTER TRAILER:
THE ARTIST

Hi! My name is Katherine, and I’m a digital artist from Belgium, currently living in Wrocław, Poland, where I’m studying 3D Animation and Visual Effects. I’ve been creating art since I was a little, Pokémon-obsessed kid, and over the years, I’ve gained quite a bit of experience in the field. I’ve done a range of commissions online, worked on an online comic for teens, created sprites for small games, and designed maps and characters for D&D sessions.

My main inspiration comes from characters I admire, and I tend to be drawn to darker themes and villainous figures. When I create character designs, I like to include imperfections because I believe flaws are what make characters interesting and relatable.

Outside of art, I enjoy gaming and watching all kinds of animated shows.

MAGE OF CREATION

I CAN MAKE EVEN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS COME TRUE ON PAPER

I enjoy working closely with clients, listening to their ideas, and understanding their vision for the characters. I find it fascinating to hear how others imagine their creations, and I take pride in bringing their concepts to life in ways that align with their expectations while adding my unique artistic touch.

AND NOW I CREATE MY OWN CHARACTERS

As a gamer, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for character development and world-building, which heavily influences my own artistic style. The immersive worlds I’ve experienced through games inspire me to create characters that feel like they belong in intricate, fantastical settings. In the past, I contributed to a teen thriller comic for a small publisher, but my focus is now on commissioned work. My long-term goal is to create art for the gaming industry, where I can merge my love for storytelling and character design with the immersive power of interactive worlds.
